Just Keep Moving

Physical self care is one that I love the most, think about the most but… don't get to practice nearly as much as I would like. Both because I am lazy and because my mind and body just aren’t giving me the willpower to do anything right now. I did a cross training program for about 4 years. 3-4 days a week every week. But now, that gym is no longer an option for me and I am not a people person to be able to go to a new gym, and really, I just want to work out at home and/or a park/trail (when it’s warm enough). So, in this section I plan to post workout tools, stretching tools, recovery tools, wellness tools, health tools, and other physical self-care tools… and of course, whatever else pops into my head that relates to physical self-care.

I am re-energizing my workout regime. I have been struggling with my mental and physical ability to get my body up and moving. It is a vicious cycle. I know if I get up and move more, I will have better energy but also, I need more energy to be able to get up and move!! So here I am spinning in circles trying to get things going.

I am also trying to work through some strange symptoms happening in my body with all of my limbs. A little crampy, a little frozen, a little tingly and a little discomfort (borderline pain). I am working with the doc’s to try and figure out what is happening, but I also know in my heart that no matter what it is that is causing these symptoms, moving my body more will help. So I have started using my treadmill more and doing LOTS of stretching! I'm pretty positive my coworkers think I’m nuts with my random stretching in meetings and on the floor at the office. I can’t wait to hear the rumors that transpire from it haha.
